Do you ever feel like God made a morning just for you. I woke up and was sitting on my porch drinking coffee and reading my bible. And it stared sprinkling. Those are my favorite kind of mornings. Soft sprinkles an cool weather. I think fall is here!
Oh Dee... I am enjoying the SAME kind of morning.

and yet... I am inspired!
and I am reminded!
Of how God works everything for good...
of how He puts ALL the broken pieces of our heart and our life back together when we bring those pieces to His feet.

there are SO many ways you could respond to this circumstance in your life that YOU had NO control over....
and yet you are yielding...
you are seeking...
you are settling into THIS DAY...
THIS MOMENT...
embracing it all and walking out each HURT and all the emotions and all the choosing and ...
the grieving.
Divorce is a death.
You have worded it SO well in some of your other posts...
the plans you had...
the children...
the growing old..
the KNOWING that you had and was counting on...
when that is all ripped away....
the pain is not only for this day...
but for the days ahead that are lost.
Having never been divorced... I can't fully understand, but having buried my Kaci... I know the pain of having a future planned with someone in it.. only to have them ripped out of the picture. To know there is no changing it. Only learning to live without them there.
Sweetie I am SO PROUD of your BRAVE HEART!!!
